Hey everyone!

So I know it's been a while, but I figured this post might be a good idea. This group contains a large portion of the people that actually still play MGO3 and is capable of sending messages to its members in bulk via announcements. I'm looking for players that I trust and still play MGO3 regularly so that I can make them moderators of this group. As a moderator you would be able post your own annoucements, and with that ability I am hoping some people could take the initiative to host some planned lobbies (modded or unmodded, it doesn't really matter). MGO3 is unfortunately near dead, but with an easy method of planning lobbies ahead of time I think seeing a full, password protected, and cheater-free lobby on at least a weekly basis is still very doable. If you're interested in becoming a moderator of this group please let me know.

Hey everyone. I'm sorry I haven't been replying to anyone's messages recently. My personal life has gotten quite busy lately, but since I don't want to leave you guys hanging I've decided to just post the download link in this announcement:

To the guys who have been asking me about other modding related stuff, I'll try to reply to your questions within the next two weeks.

As a reminder, please do not use this mod in public lobbies. Also, if you have any issues with the mod or recommendations I advise that you create a discussion post so that I can read about it at a later date.

This version is not too different from v1.03, but here's a small list of what's been done:

- Unlocked Bandana.
- Underbarrel Grenade Launcher flinch reduced from 2000 to 1000. You will still fall down, but will be able to react considerably faster.
- Rocket Projectile speed has been increased to about 90% of its unmodified value.
- Minor fixes.

I know that the explosive weapons changes are something people might get a little upset about, but after testing these weapons 'nerfed' I realized that they become horribly outclassed by practically every other lethal gun in the game because of one-hit-kill headshots. Considering how long it takes to draw and fire explosive weapons it is actually quite easy to land a headshot on someone before they get the chance to blow you up. From what I can tell, it seems like the only benefits provided by these weapons over conventional guns are their ability to kill people who are not in your direct line of sight or firing range and their splash damage. Depending on how the mod plays in the coming weeks I may tweak these values a bit more.

Removed killcam.

No bounty automark.

Buddykiller tag duration reduced to 0 seconds.

Buddy spawn invulnerability duration reduced to 0.5 seconds.

Headshot points reduced to 50.

Charm points reduced to 50.

Suicide points reduced to -150 (-300 for CnD).


EQUIPMENT CHANGES:


Removed Optics, Demolition, and Stealth Camo from default loadouts.

Removed Optics, Demolition, and Stealth Camo from level list.

Removed SERVAL AMR-7, FB MR R-LAUNCHER, and RASP TB-SG from level list.

Removed underbarrel weapons*

*Removed HAIL MGR-4 from level list, replace with UB DGL103-SA for enforcers only.

DAMAGE CHANGES:


Damage to the chest and stomach are now reversed. Shots to the chest will now do more damage than shots to the stomach.

All snipers always pop balloons in one shot.

One shot kill headshots (all 2800).

BULLHORN SG damage buffed (+6).

S1000 damage buffed (+30 per pellet, including balloon).

KABARGA-83 damage buffed (+15 per pellet, including balloon).

URAGAN-5 damage buffed (+16 per pellet, including balloon).

All SMGs buffed (+20 Damage, Including balloon).

Molotov initial damage decreased (from 250 to 145).

RENOV-ICKX TP damage buffed to pre-nerf (approx. 85% increase).

Underbarrel Grenade Launcher Damage changed from 550 to 650.

GROM-11 damage buffed (approx. 90% increase).

AA Gun mech damage increased (approx. 75% increase).

Mortar, Claymore and C4 damage increased from 1700 to 2000.


WEAPON CHANGES:


All sniper bullet gravity reduced by 10.

All sniper bullet speeds increased by 300.

All sniper bullet damage dropoff has been removed.

Underbarrel Grenade Launcher flinch reduced from 2000 to 1000. You will still fall down, but will be able to react considerably faster.

Rocket Projectile speed decreased (-10%).

URAGAN-5 Range increased from 6.5,15 to 14,22.

S1000 Range increased from 6.6,15 to 14,22.

Assault/Machine Gun damage dropoff to 0.9 (Un-Arc to 1).

SMG/Pistol damage dropoff to 0.75 (WU S33 to .95).

Shotgun damage dropoff to 0.5.

S1000 fire rate increased (from 60 to 70).

BULLHORN SG fire rate increased (from 60 to 90).

KABARGA-83 fire rate increased (from 150 to 155).

ISANDO RGL-220 fire rate increased (from 60 to 70).

URAGAN-5 fire rate increased (from 70 to 145).

WU S333 fire rate increased (from 157 to 160).

Suppressor decay change from 1,1.5 to 5.5,7.5.

AM MRS-71 Sniper Rifle Clip to 8, ammo reduced to 32, max 48.

ISANDO RGL-220 ammo increased to 12, max 18.

20 magazines, 30 max.

5 smoke grenades, 8 max.

5 decoys, 8 max.

5 E-locators, 8 max.

3 stun grenades, 5 max.

5 sleep grenades, 8 max.
