The „Orange Week“ or „Orange the World“ is an international campaign that takes place annually from November 25 to December 10 to raise awareness about violence against women and girls. The starting day, November 25, is The International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, also called „Orange Day“. During these 16 days, many buildings worldwide light up in orange, a symbol of hope, courage, and a future free of violence. The campaign calls on people to watch, listen, and take a stand against all forms of violence—physical, psychological, digital, or structural.

During this time, many activities take place, such as solidarity marches, human chains, wearing orange clothing, as well as information and educational offerings to promote equality, respect, and civil courage. Hi Pigeon. Good question. I asked myself that once. My answer is:
I think it mostly started (even with various Asperger groups at steam) with a FOR, but nowadays many of these group sites seem to have been abandoned by the group founders, and most of the people writing nowadays are not autistic but are only here to ridicule an make fun of autistic people and autism!
So my advice, now more than ever: Don't trust anyone here (or anywhere else on the internet).
