We have opened a section on discord[discord.gg]for playing Starship Troopers: Extermination together. In case you want to play with us in some organized play, make sure you subscribe to the Starship Troopers role under ⁠#👋welcome-info.

If you have not heard about the game yet:

It is a team-based FPS shooter with base-building elements and focused on squads and teamplay. It is only PvE and allows up to 16 players per lobby.

The game is still in early access but is already fun. Only downside is that performance can tank, especially in late-game.

Server gone missing

Today the server is experiencing some weird ns2 bug/glitch where the server is not visible for everyone in the server browser. It will recover itself after a while but it can take many hours :(

You can manually join the server either with the command:
connect playground.apheriox.com

or join through the relays directly: https://relay.apheriox.com/

Canceled travel plans due to COVID-19? As every year, the beach club welcomes everyone on the server who chooses to stay inside during hot weather, doing "activities".

Pick one out of 18 badges to equip it in the scoreboard.
(On the server, press ESC key, open customization menu on the left side and drag the badge into the box).

A summer event will follow sometime in July, stay tuned!

Wooza's Bounty (and Task) board!

Bounties are open tasks for the community and give in return in-game and cash rewards.

Bounties are categorized into 3 different Bounty boards; EPIC bounties, Big bounties and small bounties and they represent the difficulty or amount of work needed to complete the task.

If you want to contribute and work on a bounty, message an operator on discord or steam. Multiple people can collaborate on a task and share their bounty.

Big and Epic bounties may have additional cash rewards. In that case, we support transaction through Paypal, Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ripple and Monero. Other payment are surely also possible but it may take longer to send the money.

What bounties include:

EPIC Bounty
- A custom banner in the scoreboard
- A cash reward
- Rewards from Small Bounty

Big Bounty
- A custom banner in the scoreboard
- Possibly a cash reward
- Rewards from Small Bounty

Small Bounty
- Your name in the hall of fame (Website and ready room, once that task is done)
- A very unique badge that also has the bounty description in the badge title

Seems like the attack have stopped. There can't be a Saturday without NS2, so come and have some good times with us.

Wooza's offline for the next days

Wooza's Playground is offline for the next days/week. Due to some attacker flooding various NS2 servers, we are not able to keep the service up and have decided to take the server down to avoid more frustration and damage.

We hope this this issue will be solved in the next days, else I am forced to keep the server offline for infinite time.
