Is psalm desert a hacker? There is always the possibility he is rich and loves big numbers on his profile.

Achievement hacking doesn't really affect anyone else.... mostly we are against folks that hack in order to steal and/or cheat in multiplayer games/mmos. That's where the real impact is that affects other players. Whether you made 10 kills or 100 kills in a single player game is.. less important I would say.

Maybe i hacked my games Achievements but i am sure this was wrong and i am sure i wont do that again Geting Achievements make game more fun and better just find what to do in game when you end game.

Oh, plus the guy had absolutely nothing in his inventory... nothing at all.

Everyone, make sure you don't fall prey to the fake links people throw up in chat where you can get "free items" or there's a list of items you can choose from, etc. There will NEVER be a reason to not just click their inventory from their profile to see what they have to trade. This just happened to me twice with the same EXACT verbage:

Another key thing to look for is: Low level profile, complete failure as far as typing in English and generally this is out of the blue. I'm not sure if it's a virus they picked up. But NEVER follow links outside of steam from chat.

Got a few people today with the patent "get them angry" ploy. Got several posts about illegal copies of "Sacred 3" on Youtube and people even playing them on Steam that aren't members of the press. Did meet one person that owns a gaming channel on Youtube though. Maybe they can help us understand more about review copies and how that process works. So, final count: 3 reported to the gaming company, youtube and Steam.

I saw the invite popping up, started moving my cursor on "Ignore"... and suddenly saw there was Bacon Overlord in this group.

We would like to thank Devil738 for including us in the reporting process for this exploit with the godmode in Champions Online. He did a great job in making sure he included all the information about the people using the exploit, how to spot it and how it's done (step by step). HE has been promoted within the group to moderator and selected as member of the week! Don't forget folks, it's one thing to find a bug or a glitch and report it. That's fine and encouraged! But abusing the glitch or bug is when it becomes an exploit.

The below exploit did result in one of our members being removed from the group. Don't join if you're into cheating, folks.

Apparently there is a new exploit in Champions Online that allows you to basically be in 'godmode'. You can spot this on people when they have several stacks of unbreakable. You can spot this by clicking on them and seeing their icons. If their unbreakable has more than one stack, they are using the cheat. Generally they can get it to around 4 stacks or so right now. So avoid PVP with these guys or grouping with them since PWE loves to do retro bans for anyone involved that may have benefitted from teaming with these folks.

Every time I've used it and screenshots to attach to a report I've gotten the person banned. So.. it works.

im afraid to do that because i heard champs do not need help finding exploits or bugs

Best way to catch and report exploiters in CO is to use the /demorecord and demorecordstop commands and catch them in the act.

apparently on CO, people are doing something called "powercancel tk maelstrom in the middle of chairs" and it either lags you off game, or injurs you. watch out folks!

I found out that my son got some weird achievements while I was deployed last year. I sent an email to Steam to see if they could reset all of my achievements to nothing just in case he did something to my profile. We'll see what they say.

It seems obvious... But Steam wants specific proof. If you find the things I listed on what to look for, there's a good chance they will research it and start cleaning house.
