Like I said before, "Anglean" is fine for now because GoI is the only mandatory game, but if we expand then we should change it to something more general. This can be done with ARSR, but I haven't a clue what to do with the AR part - most of our identity seems to lie in the SR, so we MUST keep that. If Eagle is feeling particularly self-absorbed, and if he's willing to budge on the mandatory ARSR bit, then Eagle's Sky Raiders would work. I think that sounds pretty badass. I'm not trying to step outside of my authority here, I just want our clan to seem viable outside of GoI, which might be difficult with the ARSR constraint.

As for a Clan name outside of Guns, whatever it is: It must stay ARSR. It doesn't have to stand for Anglean Republic Sky Raiders in other games, but it's gotta stay ARSR, for simplicity's sake.

You guys do what you want to. I made you my officers for a reason, and that reason being that I'm pursuing this voice acting thing and I don't have as much time as I'd like to devote to the clan (sorry about that). Rest assured I am still here and I still care deeply about all of you, I just can't run the day to day operations, so to speak.

I know that Eagle, Chops and I already have YouTube channels (though I haven't uploaded anything yet - my PC can't handle screen recording!) I don't know exactly how YouTube families work, but that sounds like something that would work well for us, rather than forcing a single central channel. As for a Reddit page, Eagle should be the one to decide on that. Eagle's stance on joining the Steam group is that it's public until somebody joins and starts disrupting things, then it will be by invite only.

That's what Eagle suggested, but I feel that if we expand beyond GoI, then we should use a game-neutral name rather than having multiple game-themed ones; it removes some confusion and adds to our "clan unity/identity." And having a single game-themed name would seem to cut out all of the other games. ARSR is fine as long as GoI is the only "mandatory" game, but we might need to change something when we add to that list.

That reminds me. I've been thinking that we might publicize the group a bit more. Maybe cross refer each other in our content, form a reddit page or a youtube family, expand into other games and invite people to join ARSR, start an official ARSR channel.

A random thought: If ARSR expands into other games and we need to decouple the group from the world of GoI, then we could just call ourselves the Sky Raiders. The way I see it, that would work even in space-themed games, because is space not just an infinite* extension to the sky? (*Space may not actually be infinite; consult astrophysics books for more details.)

I don't know how helpful the GoI community as a whole would find that, other than a tutorial for that build specifically. You could make it humorous or otherwise entertaining, to get others interested in the game. If you've got nothing better to do, then make the video! I'll watch it at least.

Should be or are you? You already explain most of your stuff in game and most of the people who fly with you regularly know what to do. But it might be fun so if you feel like doing it sure.
