Hi! I have a question. I am trying to get 3 players set up on ARK, on Linux. Is this what Linux players have to do now? I do not see a base game for Linux. I see Expansions for Linux. Never seen that before. Any help would be wonderful. Self hosting I have not done.

and put in game.ini

I have my own server and I have put the jurasic park mod on it. As i see it i want to disable some of the original dino's from spawning because i like the moded ones better. How do i proceed to do this?
please explaine extended because i have not much experience with that sort of things ;-)

Try updating the mods or remove the mods and see if it works. narrow down the issue.

Hello everyone. I've been running my own server for about a month now with NITRADO. My problem is that i seem to be the only one who can get on. I have 3 friends who can get one maybe once a week. They keep running into a Snapshot 16 error and one person keeps telling him "failed to instal mod map". He will run the same mods in his singleplayer and it will give him the same issue but stil load his single player server.

hello other server owners i run a cluster of server, we have maturation boost of 3 on ours server last night we realised after rasing a squid and mosa that the multipler didunt apply to the water dinos they were still at 1x rather then 3x in growth anyone know how to fix this?

update, For some reason I was under the impression that arkservers.net finds your server automatically. I had to go to site, make an account and list the server ip for them to find. Everything is running smoothly now. I'm now currently dabbling into codes to reduce ram and bandwith usage.

almost 2 years of running The Den now.

Battle Metrics sees my server, steam sees my server, unofficial search sees my server, but ArkServers.Net isn't loading my server and it's been days now.

As I said in other post. Make sure ports are open.
Find your game in steam serv list. Don't rely on in game client. It's not very good.

Open up steam, At top menu above store Menu (Steam/view/friends/games/Help) in small text
Steam -> View-> Servers -> Favorites-> Add a server ->
1) -> yourIP#here -> Find game by this Address..
Example : 1.2.3.4 or myarkserv.ddns
May need hit " Find game by this address " a few times. Its steam issue

Note: use port check software on serv to make sure the ports are open. If ports not open correctly. Ppl won't be able join

They are showing on ArkServers.net but somehow on ark main menu where you choose unofficial server and all the server listed, but not mine. Is there something i'm missing? My server is hosted by logicservers.co.uk.

@Yiconomics have you register on Arkserver.net? if yes = should ok / If no. then that why.
Has your IP changed..if so that maybe why. I have same problem cuz my ip always changing.. every 3-5 month my ip changes..

My server shows up on steam for around 6 hours now,but nothing on arkservers.net

Default Ports are: 7777-7780 , 27015 , 32330 for rcon port.

My ports 7777-7782, 27015, 27020 but I'm running both center map and prim+. And 32330/ 32331 for my rcon , both tcp/udp open on router

Game Pc : i7 3770k 3.5 Ghz/16 GB Ram/GTX 980TI SC/2x 240 SSD GB/ Win 7 64bit
Ark Server: i5 4960 3.5 Ghz /16 GB Ram / No GPU /240 GB SDD /Win7 64Bit

@sire, I have 64GB RAM with a good processor, and the server loads up in around 16 seconds, and it says "server has successfully started!"

When I check on ArkServers.Net or steam I don't see the server though, it's hosted on a different machine than my gaming rig.

The port I have open is 777 and 27015.

Do you have a copy of what's in your startserver.bat file so I can double check my ports?

@yiconomics what is your system spec. Have you opened all the correct ports on your router and firewall software. If you have i5 + better with 8 GB ram or more. Shouldn't take long. Our center map PVE with 10 mods, we got about 60-70 profiles in asm loads up in about 50-75 seconds after full load. Should show up about 1-3 mins on steam server list.
Steam -> views -> servers -> add fav tab -> your ip -> find servers at this address. Spam refresh once your server full loaded up.

You can also give your players your ip #
steam://connect/yourip#here:27015

-Yiconomics ArkServes.net should recognize your server very soon after creation. You'll need to create an account and claim your server to be able to edit the community page description, banner, etc. Be ready for a temporary name change though. I personally have never had my .ini files reset. Mine are not on read-only, and only vanilla configurations have been removed from the list. What I change stays. I suggest shutting the server, editing the .inis, then starting again. I've found that editing the .inis on an ofline server is the best option. Let me know if this works!

New here, wanted to know if anyone has ever had their .ini files reset while using Ark Server Manager. I want to keep the .ini files read-only but ASM won't start the server if they on read-only. Also does anyone know how long it takes a server to show up on ArkServers.net?

hi, for more speed/efficiency, up to x1.0. for less speed down to x1.0.

Since the server ini setting can be a bit tricky i need some help. EggHatchSpeedMultiplier=50.0 or 0.05? what will be faster?
BabyMatureSpeedMultiplier=50.0 or 0.05? what will make them grow up faster?
BabyImprintingStatScaleMultiplier=2 (guess this is 2x as good as 1 so more stats?)
BabyCuddleIntervalMultiplier=? No clue on this at all
BabyCuddleGracePeriodMultiplier=2 I think this allows more time to imprint
BabyCuddleLoseImprintQualitySpeedMultiplier=.5

Big Question is If i want to hatch eggs quickly, have them grow fast, get good stats when you imprint on them, but be able to get 100% imprint value what are the settings?
