I (being a person who can think & form opinions for himself) liked it. I found the visuals oddly pleasing and the environment straight out of The Walking Dead, gunplay was good and interaction with other player parties pretty interesting and extremely tense. One mechanic I particularly like is the safe zones (fortified settlements) where you can stash loot in your global inventory so if you get sniped by some camper in a bush one expedition you haven't necessarily lost everything (same sort of appeal as LTI in SC).
Anything to recommend it over DayZ, which is presumably available on ArmA III?

I'm also going to suggest another look at Infestation: Survivor Stories (aka the infamous War Z) when its California map releases. Ignoring the Internet nerd-rage bandwagon, I thought it offered some truly memorable gameplay & atmosphere. Some of the firefights were as good as I've experienced in any game. It now requires punkbuster and if the hacking has diminished and they've refined the Z'eds and loot spawns I'm again very interested.

You never know, maybe our ever ellusive "Game X" is just around the corner hehe :P
