playing gta 5 online now and its a cool game. mis the old days but after so maney hours its enough for me . but buy gta5 :-)

Hey sky. Many of us have moved on from the game but there's a couple of people still playing. I still see Jay and Benedict start up the game from time to time. I do miss the good old days as well, but I'm not sure if I'd be able to find the time to play again. With that said, do tell me if you all are playing and need a person and I'll see if I can join.

yeah but the problem mostly is that evryone needs the correct map ore they can't join, and most of the time we play 50% whit frequent players and the rest are more random. hard to make a lobby for custom

This isn't the first time people stop playing for a while.
And if i recall correctly, its usually in spring and summer.
People have more things to do at this time than in winter time when its cold and dark earlyer.

Sorry for being away, my real life has been busy as hell and next week I'm going to Ireland, so no gaming for me until the week after that hopefully. I might also talk better English after my trip too if I'm lucky. I've been missing to play with you guys, see you around sometime.

I got some questions about deadstopping recently,
There is a way to make it a bit easyer (when u got used to it)
change your net settings in a autoexec.cfg file.
Basicly when u lower your cl_interp (lerp) u can deadstop later,
which is ridiculous early on normal settings. But it dont give you more time to do it.

its not really difficult to do:
open wordpad, copy the net settings below in it, and save it as a autoexec.cfg file, copy the file and put it in this l4d2 folder: C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead 2\left4dead2\cfg\

netsettings:
------------------------
rate 30000
cl_updaterate 100
cl_cmdrate 100
cl_interp_ratio -1
cl_interp 0.067
cl_lagcompensation 1
-------------------------
when you dont mind jerky common infected animations, u can lower the
cl_interp to 0.033 or 0.0167 But you have to find out for yourself what suits you. (below 0.0167 works only in confogl)

(can change the bind letters)

(shows netsettings and fps when press TAB)

(mouse speed settings, use your own preference)

Hmm, I'm just wondering about your basic requirements. When you say microphone should be mandatory, do you mean they can have one but chose not to use it or?
What kind of degree decides the expereience/understanding? I'm curious of how you thought.

Hi everyone, just to let you know, I haven't disappeared, I'm having unbelievable trouble with talktalk, been offline since 4th January. I would write more and appreciate your suggestions on how to fix it, but really, we've tried everything. To date we've made 25 phonecalls to them and been lied to all the time, they haven't a clue what is wrong but keep telling us, it's nearly fixed, it's nearly fixed.... Changing to BT (the only other option where I live) would be more expensive and not guaranteed to fix the problem either. So for the time being we're playing the somewhat painful game of waiting.

Anyway, hopefully I'll be back at some point and able to join you all for a game. Thought I'd let you know what's happened to me.
