RIFLEMAN
When using a rifleman, be sure to have a quick accurate trigger finger! Never try and fight out Germans, while running and gunning, or spraying and Praying if you will. This dosen't mean, take your time, and give them a chance to shoot back, just make sure you've got a shot. Sometimes though, when a German notices you, which 90% of the time he will, attack back in full force! Here's a list of steps if your 1 on 1 with a German, and he's attacking hard!
1) Think, if your close and counters and the German is ripping you up with his MP, don't take time to crouch and shoot, odds are he'l kill you. Instead, stafe back and forth and spray, keep the crosshairs tucked low, and fire. If your using the standard crosshair, aim so that the top line is in his chest, or inbetween his arms.
2) If you take out the enemy, reload, or bleed out your rifle! What is bleeding out your rifle? Fire every single shot out of your weapon! Keep in mind, if you have more enemies coming, don't stand out in the open, take cover behind something. 3) Resume playing!
Simple huh? Well at long range it's a completely different story! First off, it's a competely different game at long range, because your shots aren't going to hit as often, moving. So try this.
(USE THESE IF ONLY FACEING A KAR98 [German Rifle])
1) Find a building wall, and get behind it and wait for him to shoot. 2) After he fires, strafe out, fire, and move back behind the wall, and wait for him to fire again. Then go out and resume firing. 3) Continue this until he dies, or you die. A battle between a rifleman and another rifleman, is a stalemate, nothing you can really do, except fight it out to the death.
(USE THESE TIPS IF FACING ANY Automatic [Not including MG] WEAPON)
1) Becasue all other weapons stink at fighting at long range [not including sniper or MG] you have the advantage. If the German is smart, they'll duck down, and pray that you die, but they can't do much. So you have 2 options. 2) 1. You can strafe the way you would with a Kar, and steady your shots. 3) 2. You can duck down/croutch and blow some holes in his chest.
(USE THESE TIPS IF FACING SNIPER OR MG-42)
1) ID the enemy, they're where abouts, and take cover! If it's a sniper, strafe out, and quickly back in, so he wastes a round, when he misses, take precious aim (Aim Down the Site) and wait for him to come back out. If it's a MG-42, try and flank the MG, or nade it, don't try what you did with the Sniper! 2) And that's the only tip.
HOW AND WHERE TO AIM!
Aiming is a nessesdy to life, and death, if you just purily suck at aiming, your screwed! Aiming is simple, often, what good players will do, is Crouch, and firing 2 our 3 rounds towards the enemy's chest, if those 3 fail, they'll get out of cover, and try and spray the enemies flank. And that's basically all you can really do...
