If anyone is still interested in this, I'm planning on making a tournament with all boards, but I'm gonna need some help. Add me if you're interested
add command and conquer red alert 3 if possible
Quake Live seems good.
Yeah, I'd say TF2 is probably the best choice. Besides, it's free so anybody that wants to participate can.
in either:
highlander 9v9
or
6v6 with competitive class restrictions (1 demo 1 med 1 engy 1 heavy and 2 of everything else)
Feel free to talk to me on the TF2 part (I know my ♥♥♥♥)
The game is Team Fortress 2. It's free, at lowest graphic settings it can play on anything and it's easy to make servers for it. Vanilla mode only, don't bother with Highlander because we're not a bunch of braindead tourneyfags.
Assemble five teams from each respective board. As far as I can tell, the interested boards are /v/ (obviously,) /a/, /tg/, /sp/ and possibly /co/. I guess we can let /b/ and /soc/ in, but that's a stretch. Anyone else is welcome as long as they can make FIVE teams of TWELVE players each. Gather up the Steam profiles of each team, take all those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ put on a board tag while they play so pubfags don't enter the servers, making everyone look bad.
Assemble it in a tournament fashion. I seriously hope you know how to do this. By the end of it, one board's team will face another to determine who the victor is, while letting the losers squabble amongst each other for second, third, fourth, etc.
TF2 gets my vote for now.
