I got a lot less lag now, apparently some of it was because of my aspect ratio being set on Automatic, changed it to 16:9 and that made a noticeable change in performance.

i feel you but we gotta put up with it till they make a fix its not that bad once you get used to it

well i guess it was a graphical glitch but it seems to of gotten better i am now able to play multiplayer on lowest settings but every now and then i get a funky glitch across my screen i can bear through it for now till i can afford a new pc but im pretty sure its my processor it maxes out at 2.5 ghz and the game requires 2.85 ghz to run

At 1:46p.m. CST there are 36,901 players so it must be better. I didn't find and problems last night but my skill level ... ;)

Is MP getting better?

7970M is a nice card .. My laptop has the older model 6970m (2Gb) and I love it. Although I really don't play highend games on it. Little FB and some side scroll games.

The next rig will be built, and I will not go with a laptop. I think my 7970m will be okay after some patches.

Bear ... Those are nice rigs. I built a nice one just over a year ago and really want to get another year out of it but the PC gaming world is moving fast.

I was dumb and bought an Alienware M17x.

I'm sure MP will be a blast when we all get on.

i cant upgrade my laptop and my only option is to save for a new build or a new system whichever is easier and in all honesty with my first semester of college coming in feb i dont have the time to save for a gaming rig

Fatal .. You don't have to buy new, it's easy to upgrade what you have. Off the self units are a little harder to upgrade but still can be done. If I can help let me know.

Bear, when MW3 first broke, the forums were lit up with problems and now over a year later it is still one of the most played games for it's age. It will all work out in the end. I try to read all of that stuf with "a grain of salt" because some ppl are just unhappy in life and have to share it with others.

I'm looking forward til the time we can all play together.

I'm not updating for COD. I have only had my gaming PC a year. Wonder if I can run ultra when all is fixed. Game is getting bad reviews.

this is what i like to call the turn of the century when everyone realizes they dont have what it takes to play next gen so they either buy a brand new rig or a brand new system and at this point im about to choose the latter cause idk if i have the ability nor the patience to build a new rig

Don't think it'll be smooth in Ultra right now, but you'll be able to play it on pretty high settings already now. A lot smoother than yesterday

bear i cant even run it in low so i dooubt anybody can run it in ultra unless they have like a brand new desktop they put about 1500 into

I have seem a lot of screen shot that look awsome, I think it might run fine. Maybe only problems here and there. I'm thinking I will run it on whatever works and keep an eye on the news page for any patches.

So I just downloaded the CoD app for iPad, I searched for Second Amendment but can't seem to find it though.

I'm sure the lag will be fixed (optimization).

I have an Alienware M17x with an i7-3630QM, 2GB 7970M, and 8GB RAM. I hope I can run it high / ultra.

Played it for about an hour with Mike last night, it's a big change from MW or BO, that's for sure. The game is fun, I like the maps, althought they seem a bit big to me sometimes.
I (and I think Mike aswell) experienced a lot of lag though, which made it a little less enjoyable to play. Not sure if it was my hardware, which I doubt ( i7 3.0Ghz, 8Gb Ram, HD 7950 3Gb version) or the servers, but it seemed that no matter what quality settings I picked, I got lag anyway, even when playing on lowest settings.

But yes, graphically the game looks great, you can tell they've made some nice changes to the engine. I just hope the lag was a temporary thing and it will resolve itself :)

It was a mistake on my end. I thought I still had you as mod. If you don't want to be here, fine. However, I fixed the issue and made sure I had you as mod. Furthermore, Quad did nothing wrong. It was my human error.

if that's the direction we go in, I might want to reconsider. a gaming clan isn't serious enough to put up with such childish drama

steam just dumped my preload for some reason the minute the game came out.... redownloading...

Anyone having this problem? "Lost Connection To Host" Some matches work fine some of them the host just disconnects.

I understand but you know you can't get away from that. I guess they just get to serious and have to win at any cost.

I'm sure kinks will get worked out. What I fear is hacking.
