I will attempt to make the format as easy as possible to answer, as I do not wish to overwhelm you with questions to see if you are ready to fit a perfect role in the Civil Protection's forces. Answers are defined based on your knowledge, not on experience. Experiences come to the player through roleplay and not in a meta-gaming purpose. This history defines us all and who we are, and who we came to be.
In the early times of HL2RP on Garry's Mod, there was an attempt for a basic roleplaying framework by a person known as Kurozael from Cloud Sixteen.

With this new release of Kuroscript (later Open Aura), we decided to try it.. and by all means necessary it was comforting and enjoyable; and that was not only the beginning of our community.

We've had staff come and go, good times and bad experiences; MANY by which I cannot even remember myself, or even how the idea of the gaming group came across, but for myself to say.. HL2RP cannot, and will NEVER .. EVER be the same as it was in the past. Henceforth naming it the Golden Times, a era of constant bugs, treading the waters, and understanding the working mysteries of Cloud Sixteen.

On June 15th, 2012.. we had many roleplaying works, even our own custom Open Aura - Black Mesa Roleplay, and this was our best and most serious roleplay creation yet, and probably the first aside from the Dark RP counterpart that was growing popular. The works from which co-existed in 2012 are lost to this very day, and it was some of the best roleplay I've ever experienced. (I have also very recently in 2018 got the developer key and license for Clockwork Black Mesa RP if anyone wants to help develop, map, and make plugins for that.. to restore the good times PM me or leave a general discussion thread.)

Another thing to point out, is by that time.. everyone had to LITERALLY download files from the server or Garrysmod.org, should also include that into the Golden Times

By this time of October 16th, 2016.. There was a declared attempt at reviving Phoenix Effect with a Clockwork - Half Life 2 Roleplay, but soon enough. We changed over to Clockwork - Metro 2033 Roleplay (A customary schema). During this time we gained most of the playerbase that remains in this steam group as many has left over time.

At this certain time, with this history behind our backs. For most of the part which are highly undocumented (hopefully for the best), with great experiences, history and a well desired playerbase as a blast-from-the-past type deal, I can see that this community can grow again.

We hosted a successful attempt at HL2RP with Cur7 at our side, Thank you Curt!

This also helped our community grow to nearly a hundred members, and thanks for also letting me pay for the server at an affordable price! (and obv the problems I had to face to get us here!)
