@Psi Lord Just checked it out, I like those quick easy early game builds. The early game is so cruital to get up and running as fast as you can. Also that Drone Roof idea is amazing! Great work!

@Splicer not sure what's going on there. I haven't had any issues with the discord channel so far and I've been in it for quite some time now. May be something in your own settings although what that could be I have no idea.

Nope, I just log on everyday and poof its gone from my discord server list in the software. I had joined like 3 times and it seems as if, perhaps you have a 24hr automatic pruning option enabled or something?

I'd be curious how are you being kicked? Does it give you any messages? I seen you post on there recently so it looks like it is working?! Let me know I'll try to help what I can.

do you guys have a server if you do whats the ip?

Anyone have any advice on a disfunctional HDD? Windows is saying it's good but it won't let me format all of it. It's seperated into 2 partitions, a 2TB section and a 1.62 TB section. I can allocate and format the 2TB section but can't do a dam thing with the rest.

OMG I'm so glad I'm back. I dropped my tower while moving it and the thing was completely destoyed. Luckily none of the internal parts were damaged just had to get a new case and thermal grease :).

Omega was the first big ship that I did. Was during the pre-alpha days as well so alot of the stuff we have not did not exist then. But the goal was to make a big SV as no one was doing that sorta of thing then. I love the detail you can do with the smaller blocks.

3 SV blocks = the size of one CV sized block. This is something that needs to be in the game now! Since we now have small and large blocks would be nice if they would work with each other. So if i place down large blocks and then put a small block on it, it would then show a small 3x3 grid on the large block. I hope I am making sense here.

Is it me or the Omega is way too big to be considered as a SV?
I don't think you can dock this thing in a CV hangar

Fenra369 is correct a laptop could work. Minecraft is a brutally fun game as well! But this one is better~

I have hosted from my PC a couple of times. I believe up to 4 people before. That was using 2x 660ti's in sli. My fps was fine and other than my shoddy internet, at the time, it worked rather well~

I was gonna say, if you have an old laptop or something you could have it be a server box. Not sure how feasible that is, but I managed to do something similar for Minecraft. Obviously you couldn't use it as a public server, but for like 5 people or something it'll do in a pinch.

Sounds like you were looking at Quaddro cards. The super high end ones are performance wise comparible to the high end gtx cards. the biggest differnce is the amout of ram the quaddros have.

I guess a good starting question would be how many people would you want able to play at the same time with?

Well I had plans to have it run Empyrion 24/7 but I looked up some bit coining GPU's to try and make it pay for itself... those alone were $3500 a pop for the good ones.

Ya in that case renting a server starts sounding like a better idea.

Although I do love building PC's would be amazing to build such a crazy one like that!

$2k huh? wish I had that kind of budget haha. I started poutting together a server build and abandoned it after the motherboard, CPU's and RAM. Those 3 items alone put the cost over $16k but then again I kind of went all out with dual, 10-core Xeon E4's and 1TB of LR RAM haha.

I'm planning to build a 2000$(yup, that kind of budget) PC with a friend of mine(he has a knack for computers since elementary school).
I can do it in anytime I want, but right now I have other stuff to take care of.

@Draconator I build PC's for a hobby and while I don't currently have an extra one just sitting around, I can get you a list of parts for around $700-800 that will run all of todays titles in medium quality 720P very well. Just let me know and I'll get you a list after a few "preference" questions lol.

Well I tried my hand at interior decorating haha. Yeah you need to do that but I'm uploading the finished model to the workshop but I still welcome any decorators that would try their hand at this. The bay isnt very big but slightly bigger than the bay on the Cerberus. It can hold 2 Mamba SV/HV with an entire large block worth of room to walk down the middle. I made a corridor in the wings and put some spare fuel tanks towards the end to spread the fuel out and keep it a little more redundant. Sur[risingly it's fairly cheap to build which makes it good for survival but not as practical as some builds... but dam it looks good :).

Wow that looks good! I haven't had a chance to load it up yet to see it. I promise I will - end of the month at work gives me loads of busy work to do. But great job thus far!
