I have an official XB1 controller with an official wireless dongle. Works for every other game on my PC but older AC games I've had trouble with getting to work with controller.

Does anyone know how to set up the game play for controller. At the very start I go to options then controls but it only has keybindings.

So the newest patch was supposed to make playing with a controller easier, but mine won't work at all. It's recognised by the game, as the icons change, but nothing happens. It seems to behave like m+kb in the menu. So right stick to move pointer and RT to click. In-game, though? Nothing. No movement, no clicking, no looking. Any help is appreciated.

I'm trying to play with my Xbox One controller on PC and for some reason, the A and B keys are not correct in game.

When I press X Y and B, then corresponding circles move in the bottom

My xbox one controller wont work with the game. Any fix for the issue?

im looking at how to connect my controller to play rust i switched over from xbox to pc and just cannot grasp the pc controls and simply want to play casually in the way im used to please no useless comments telling me to just get good at pc controlls, ive tried.

So I can't get my xbox controller to work in game. I works fine every where other then in the game. It worked the first time I booted it up the after that it just stopped working. Ive reset my controller numerous times and updated the controller and tried using a usb cord and nothing. Ive also enabled the Steam input option that is available still nothing. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
