When I got home from school today, I was really looking forward to relaxing and playing some CS2 after a long day. It’s something I genuinely enjoy and something I had been excited about all afternoon. However, the moment I launched Steam, my excitement disappeared completely. I suddenly received a notification from the Valve Anti-Cheat System (VAC) stating that my account had been permanently banned from CS2 for alleged hacking. Reading that message felt unreal, because I have never used hacks, cheats, or any kind of third-party software. I’ve always played the game fairly, so getting banned without any explanation was both shocking and incredibly frustrating.

I understand that VAC is designed to be strict and that bans are generally irreversible, but I also know that false positives can happen. In this situation, I strongly believe that a mistake has been made. I haven’t even played CS2 for the past three days, so I can’t imagine what could have triggered a ban during that time. I’ve spent real money on the game, invested countless hours improving my skills, and worked hard to reach Prime Level 8. That progress took dedication, and losing it all over something I didn’t do feels extremely unfair and discouraging.

That’s why I’m kindly asking you to review my case more thoroughly. I truly don’t believe I deserve this ban, and it was heartbreaking to come home excited to play, only to discover that my account had been permanently restricted for reasons I don’t understand. I hope the ban can be reconsidered and removed, because all I want is to continue enjoying CS2 and playing the game legitimately, just as I always have.

You have a game ban and 1 (!) game on your account.

Usually game bans are delayed, it doesn't matter what you did three days before since the account could have been flagged prior or after before the ban was applied.

In any case, if the ban is not removed in few days to weeks, create a new account, since the ban then will be permanent.

You do not have a VAC BAN, you have a GAME BAN. There are many ways to earn a GAME BAN. Cheating is only 1 way to get one. GAME BANS for valve games are PERMANENT and can not be appealed.

The only thing cringier than copying someone else's post is using AI to create a post.

as per your profile, you have a gameban and not a vacban. Irrelevant what it says ingame. Also there are a few reasons for a gameban. Also its permanent.
