Cheating is not the only way to earn a game ban.

It's not a VAC ban, but a game ban, and there are several possible reasons for it.

always funny when people use "i play on faceit" as if they think because it, that they won't get banned. OP, as per your profile, you have a gameban, irrelevant what it says ingame and its permanent

Are you under the impression of that game bans only for cheats?

You don’t have to be a cheater to be awarded a game ban. There are other things you can do to get one that are not cheating.
