But since the ban is over 5 years old, the red text is only visible to you.

VAC ban disappear after sometime, but its impossible to remove, sometimes people receive nfair vac ban, but when this happens they usually remove it in 1 day without need to contact steam support.

There is your answer as to one reason why VAC bans are permanent. The lost playtime is also permanent.

well maybe you should look up what the word permanent means. the 2537 day old vacban cannot be appealed or removed

You do realize that it's only no longer visible on your profile, but it's still possible for others to check if you have a VAC ban, right?

I understand, but i just dont want others to see it when they open my profile :D. I dont understand why is everyone so mad and angry about it. It happend, I cant change it, It was long time ago.. You were breaking rules as child as well, like everyone else, just in different way.

As a child, I followed the rules and didn't use cheats because I was aware of their negative aspects.

Breaking any rules or using cheats in multiplayer is a completely different matter.
