5 years? 1222 days is not even close to 5 years; roughly speaking, that's about 3.5 years.
The first sentence in the FAQ, which you can find in your own profile:
VAC bans are permanent, non-negotiable, and cannot be removed by Steam Support.
You were mentally mature enough to search for, download, and use cheats, so you were also old enough to understand what you were doing and how wrong it was.
Besides, we're talking about 3.5 years here, which isn't like a lot of time to become that much more mature.
