Vac ban accidental
I haven’t played rust in weeks and I checked and some one was on my account in Paris. My account got hacked. The only reason why rust is played recently because I wanted to check if I actually got banned on rust.

Appeal to the game developer using their 'contact support' function, IF they allow appeals in the first place. Appealing here is both futile and inappropriate.

Rust uses Easy Anti Cheat. EAC bans are permanent.[support.facepunchstudios.com]EAC bans can be appealed, but the grant of an appeal is very unlikely.[www.easy.ac]

Do not try to rebuy Rust on a new account. EAC bans by HWID.

In accordance with section 1 C of the Steam Subscriber Agreement, you are fully responsible for all actions on your account, no matter who used the account. This includes actions that occurred as the consequence of fraudulent account access by phishing or malware, be it input relay, session token theft or any other method that granted a third party access to your account.

1 game ban on record | Info
0 day(s) since last ban

The account has a GAME ban. Game bans have nothing to do with VAC or this forum.

Click and read the info link beside the ban notice on your profile.

RUST does not use VAC.

Account security is your responsibility. Does not matter who used the account to break the rules.

Rust does not use VAC, it uses a different anti cheat system. If your account was "hacked" then even i can safely say that account security is your responsibility. Most, if not all dev's will not remove bans if your account was "hacked"
