doesnt matter who was using the account to cheat, ban is PERMANENT

this is not a ban appeal forum, nothing you post is getting the ban removed

If you connect to a VAC connected server and VAC detects cheats on you're account you recieve a VAC ban they are permaneant and can't be removed by Steam Support. This is regardless of whether you used the cheats or not.
Unfortunatly I think that the VAC ban will not be removed even if you didn't use or install the cheats, if VAC detects cheats while connecting you are permanetly banned sorry.
Fortunatly though I think that VAC bans are engine speficic depending on what engine you got the VAC ban on so if you got the VAC ban on Source this does not affect GoldSrc so you can still play GoldSrc although its been a long time since I heard this I don't know if this is still true.
