Vac bans are issued for known cheats being detected on the computer while the account was connected to a vac server. VAC bans are delayed, what the account was doing at the time the ban was activated is unlikely to have anything to do with the ban.
Anything that tampers with protected game files is treated as a cheat regardless of it giving an advantage or not (skin changers, etc). Steam/Valve will not release any information about what was detected, that information will only help those that cheat and make cheats.
You are responsible for the security of the account and what is on the computer(s) the account uses. It does not matter who was using the account to cheat.
No one on the forums can remove nor investigate a ban. Only falsely applied VAC bans are removed automatically by the system at a later time.
This is not a ban appeal forum. You cannot appeal a VAC ban. Nothing you post is going to get the ban removed. There is an INFO link on your profile, click it and read what it tells you.
You are responsible for the security of your account, as well as ensuring the device you're using is clean.
If you fail to fulfill these responsibilities, the affected account will be penalized.
It would be nice if you had read the FAQ in your profile at some point during the past four years. Terms like "permanent" and "cannot be removed" should be familiar to you.
There are translators available, and you can directly change the information in your profile to any language you want.
Nothing to consider. Your account was caught with cheats and that's why it's still banned.
1. you used a skin-changer
2. you forgot to log out of one of the public computers and someone cheated on your account
3. your friend made sure to remember your password and cheated with it for.. reasons.
4. you used a skin trading site and got your account hijacked without you knowing and someone realized you had no skins to trade so they got it banned out of spite.
5. you fell for a phishing scheme and got your account hijacked without you knowing and someone realized you had no skins to trade so they got it banned out of spite.
6. you did cheat and are lying to us because you do not yet understand that to Valve all bans are permanent no matter what you say and they don't even read this forum nor care what you say.
7. you bought the account with the intent to sell the skins but then realized it had an old ban on it and now you're trying to get it unbanned because you're desperate since you spend your last money on buying the account and you do not yet understand that to Valve all bans are permanent no matter what you say and they don't even read this forum nor care what you say.
I'm leaning towards #7 myself, which is often the case with old bans.
1 VAC ban on record | Info
1453 day(s) since last ban
first and only thread, and its regarding the account bans. I smell a purchased account. Now vacbans are for cheating and it have already been checked and rechecked, so its correct and permanent. So either the "computer club pc's" or your "friend laptop" had cheats on it or you downloaded cheats and used it. so again ban is permanent. FYI this is a community only forum
