But to answer your question, you can play the game, but only on servers what will allow you, to my understanding, Rust official servers will reject you automatically because of the ban

ok Yip, that ban is good couple years old. I highly doubt they will remove it. you have to accept the ban.
Just a heads up, EAC ban is hardware ban, if you still using the same pc when the account got banned, then don't try to buy and play Rust on the account with no ban on it, as that account will just banned as well.
Yes. As EAC (Easy Anti-cheat) is the anti-cheat that Rust uses not VAC.
