you posting from an account what doesn't have any form of bans, no vacban, no gamebans, no trade bans. Either use the account to post a thread or post a link to the profile with the ban on it.

But seeing you talking about an "old ban" for Rust. and if its on another account, then the ban is permanent. Rust dev's don't remove bans easily and if your ban is old, then they will definitely not remove it. Also Steam/Valve is just enforcing the ban, so they can't remove it. So in other words, your account security is your responsibility, irrelevant if you were serving in the military or not.

But to answer your question, you can play the game, but only on servers what will allow you, to my understanding, Rust official servers will reject you automatically because of the ban

ok Yip, that ban is good couple years old. I highly doubt they will remove it. you have to accept the ban.

Just a heads up, EAC ban is hardware ban, if you still using the same pc when the account got banned, then don't try to buy and play Rust on the account with no ban on it, as that account will just banned as well.

Yes. As EAC (Easy Anti-cheat) is the anti-cheat that Rust uses not VAC.
