INSANE somehow VAC is better than Faceit AC now, crazy world we live in.
Thank you for ur reply.
I'm asking because you're only talking about cheats, and the FAQ states that there are various reasons for receiving such a ban.
Cheating: I want to be absolutely clear, I have never cheated in any game. I take fair play seriously, and you can verify that I play on multiple platforms, most of which have their own anti-cheat systems.
Manipulating matchmaking rank: I understand what "deranking" means, but I don’t even have a rank. I’ve only played a few Premier matches and don’t have a Counter-Strike Rating yet. As for "falsely increasing skill group," I’m not entirely sure what that even refers to, and I’ve never done anything that would artificially boost my rank or rating.
Botting and/or automation: I assume this refers to people using bots or scripts to farm cases or inflate playtime with multiple accounts. I've never done anything like that. You can check my game history and match activity, it all reflects normal play behavior.
Intentionally interfering with game servers or other players: I genuinely don’t know what this means in this context. I’ve never attempted to interfere with game servers or disrupt other players' experiences.
Given all this, the only category left is "cheating," which, again, I have never done.
I just cannot understand how it is possible i didn't even play MM or WINGMAN or whatever it may be TODAY I woke up and saw on my profile game ban WTF.
Bans are delayed to what you were doing at the time of the ban doesn't matter.
No one here will be able to tell you the exact reason your account was banned. Valve does not share that info with anyone.
And as already mentioned, bans are issued with a time delay, so you can't know when you've been targeted for the ban.
Unfortunately, we can only tell you what's in the FAQ.
Well i guess it's goodbye steam after all these years..
Thanks again guys.
With cheats or other software, this is obviously supposed to be prevented so that cheaters don't know exactly what the system is reacting to, because otherwise countermeasures are taken.
With, for example, toxic behavior, I suspect that this is also where the limits of what exactly can be done to avoid being too toxic are exhausted (even if that sounds strange).
So that you behave as well as possible.

always amazing that people with bans either uses chatgpt, to lazy to read, or make such a long essay and still refuses to read what people post. You have a gameban, there are a few reasons for it and its permanent. go to your profile and click on the info button. this is a community only forum

That is a game ban, what it says in the game, It does not matter at all. The only thing that matters is what it says on your profile.

VAC ban?
?
?
?
No.
The account has a GAME ban.
Try looking at your profile. That's what matters. What it says in game does not matter at all.
Game bans have nothing to do with VAC or this forum.
Users are responsible for the security of the account and all activity on the account.
Bans are delayed from the time of the detection to the time that the ban is actually applied. What you were doing when the ban was applied, is irrelevant.
Be sure to read EVERYTHING....even the information contained within the links. THERE ARE SEVERAL OTHER REASONS BESIDES CHEATING.
The ban is permanent.
It will not be removed.
Counter-Strike 2 game bans are permanent, non-negotiable, and cannot be removed by Steam Support.
Why are game bans issued?
Game bans in Counter-Strike 2 are issued when a player attempts to circumvent or interfere with game systems to the detriment of others.
Examples include: <<<<-------
Cheating.
Manipulation of matchmaking rank by deranking or falsely increasing your Skill Group or Counter-Strike Rating.
Botting and/or automation.
Intentionally interfering with the normal operation of game servers or other players.
Game Bans for all of the above are not removed by Steam Support.
Can I appeal my game ban?
No. Game bans cannot be appealed and are not removed from accounts.
I was not using my account when it was game banned. Can the ban be removed?
No. Regardless of who was using the account at the time the ban was issued, game bans are permanent and are not removed.
