Why are game bans issued?
Game bans in Counter-Strike 2 are issued when a player attempts to circumvent or interfere with game systems to the detriment of others.

Examples include:
Cheating.
Manipulation of matchmaking rank by deranking or falsely increasing your Skill Group or Counter-Strike Rating.
Botting and/or automation.
Intentionally interfering with the normal operation of game servers or other players.
These are just examples, there are many more different reasons.

No. We do not disclose the reason for your game ban.

Counter-Strike 2 game bans are permanent, non-negotiable, and cannot be removed by Steam Support.

Just because Valve doesn't give you details doesn't mean the ban is wrong.

The ban isn't wrong, because it's not issued without reason. I've seen hundreds of game bans, and none have ever been removed. Honestly, you can give up hope.

This is users/players forum ONLY, not Valve Support. Game bans are also caused by other reasons, not necessarily cheats. Read the info on your profile, then make a new account, because your Game Ban is permanent, and permanent means forever.
