Appeal for Counter-Strike 2 20-Hour Ban

Dear Steam Support,

I received a 20-hour ban in Counter-Strike 2 last night. According to the message, one of my teammates was cheating. I was playing in a fixed party with my friends, and I am certain that none of them were cheating – nor was I. This means that one of the two random players in the match must have been the cheater.

I kindly ask you to reconsider the current banning methodology, as it feels unfair to punish players who are not connected to the cheater in any way other than being randomly matched in the same game. It is extremely frustrating to receive a penalty for the actions of a stranger.

Meanwhile, many obvious cheaters who are repeatedly reported seem to face no consequences. This situation discourages fair players and makes the experience less enjoyable.

chatgpt wont help you. gamebans, vacban and global cooldowns cannot be appealed, reduced or removed. So wait it out.
