VAC ban on my account by mistake — request for help / info
Hi,

My Steam account (username: diogokamelo77) received a VAC ban on January 1, 2019, for CS:GO. I believe this ban was applied by mistake. I have never used cheats or third-party software that modifies the game.

Since the ban, I have taken several steps to secure my account, including changing my password, enabling Steam Guard, revoking all active sessions, and scanning my PC for malware or unauthorized programs.

I understand that VAC bans are permanent and cannot be removed manually, but I would like to know if there is any way for Valve to verify whether this ban could have been a false positive or triggered by an external factor.

I can provide screenshots and any logs needed to support this case.

Thank you for any guidance or clarification you can offer.

VAC bans that old are permanent.

ChatGPT doesn't help getting a permanent ban removed.

You have 3 games on your banned account, just create a new one and move on.

You can change your story as much as you like and create threads like you did in the past, the ban will NEVER be removed.

Edit your post and remove your account name (if that is in fact your actual account name).

Looking at OP's name history, his account is most likely compromised anyway :CoconutLaugh:.
