My Steam Account Was Hacked and Wrongfully VAC Banned
I am writing to report that my Steam account was compromised (hacked) and that a VAC ban was applied while the account was not under my control. I would like to respectfully request a review of my case, as I have never used cheats, third-party software, or violated any Steam or CS:GO rules.

Here are the details of the situation:
• My account was hacked, and I lost access to it for a period of time.
• During this period, the hacker used my account to play CS:GO, which resulted in the VAC ban.
• I have since recovered my account and secured it by changing my password, enabling Steam Guard, and checking my PC for malware.

I kindly ask you to investigate this issue and verify that the suspicious activity and ban were caused by unauthorized access. I have always followed the Steam Subscriber Agreement and value fair play and the integrity of the game.

Please review my account history and consider removing the VAC ban, as it was issued while my account was being used by someone else without my permission.

Thank you for your understanding and for taking the time to look into my case. I deeply appreciate your help in restoring my account’s reputation.

If the game ban is for a VALVe game, tough luck, as those bans are all permanent.

Account security is your responsibility and you are responsible for all actions happening on it.

Being "hacked" isn't a reason for getting a ban removed, so posting here is pointless.

This is a user forum, nobody else is here.
Aside from the fact that you're responsible for your account, so it doesn't matter who broke the rules, I find this a bit odd. Someone takes control of your account and plays with it instead of getting the items from your inventory?
Also if someone "hacked" your account, it would be the first ever account hack on Steam.

Look at it like this:

1. Someone has to guess your account name out of millions of accounts
2. Someone has to guess your password, out of even more combinations
3. Someone has to guess your Steam Guard code out of even more combinations valid for mere seconds

And all that matching the same account at the moment logging in.

You'd rather win in the lottery than this scenario happening.

Your account wasn't hacked, you probably simply leaked your data at some point in the past leading to someone HIJACKING your account.
Problem is you are ALWAYS responsible for what happens on your account the system ONLY looks which account was used and they'll ban it they don't care WHO used the account
Such an original and not at all AI generated. Or copied & pasted from a different post from here.

C. Your Account

When you complete Steam’s registration process, you create a Steam account ("Account"). Your Account may also include billing information you provide to Valve for transactions concerning Subscriptions, Content and Services and the purchase of any physical goods through Steam (“Hardware”). You may not reveal, share or otherwise allow others to use your password or Account except as otherwise specifically authorized by Valve. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your login and password and for the security of your computer system. Valve is not responsible for the use of your password and Account or for all of the communication and activity on Steam that results from use of your login name and password by you, or by any person to whom you may have intentionally or by negligence disclosed your login and/or password in violation of this confidentiality provision. Unless it results from Valve’s negligence or fault, Valve is not responsible for the use of your Account by a person who fraudulently used your login and password without your permission. If you believe that the confidentiality of your login and/or password may have been compromised, you must notify Valve via the support form {链接已删除} without any delay.

Do note how it does not state to post on the forum to dispute a ban.

always find it funny that people are quick to use the "account hacked" excuse, and like you mention, they sitting with items what can be moved to another account before the account gets banned
