Reinstalling Steam

Hi, thanks for your help.
I had to reinstall the Steam app. I still have the same Steam Guard. But when I try to trade, it tells me I have to wait 2 days.
Is there any way to remove this restriction?
I find it confusing that I have to wait 2 days and not 7 as stated in the user help section.
