This post is just a report on the App. I am not looking for a discussion or a fix.
When I try to place an order on the marketplace Steam asks to use the app to confirm. I confirm on the app, nothing happens. Even if I wait several minutes nothing happens. After I confirm on the app, the confirmation is removed from the app but steam is stuck on the confirmation page. If I exit the page the order is canceled. So I cannot place orders until this problem is solved.
I tried:
- Waiting several minutes after the confirmation (did not work)
- Clearing App cache (did not work)
- Reinstalling the App (did not work)
- Log off and log in (did not work)
- Restart phone and pc (did not work)
- Turn on App notifications (did not work and the confirmation did not pop up as a notification)
I give up and I will wait for future App patches to solve this problem.
