What is the point of Steam Guard
When you block me from logging in on my laptop despite me using the QR code to login via Steam Guard on my phone?
I'm at a hotel and I'm guessing something about their Wi-Fi is causing it to make my network location appear to be in a different state than my physical location.

I get that that's weird. But I'm logging in on my personal device, which has been associated with my Steam account for like 6 years.

I logged in with the Steam Guard in the Steam app on my phone, like I'm supposed to. I confirmed it was me. I filled out the little survey in the app where you said hey it looks weird, is this you?

And then you just said you're blocking the login anyway.

What is the point of all these layers of security and 2FA if you're still going just decide not to let me login anyway.

Side note: the survey that asked why I was trying to log in to Steam had like 6 options, but for some reason lacked the actual reason I was trying to login, which was to play the games I purchased and installed, which one would think would option 1 for a digital games storefront.
