The steam guard is broken
I tried to add a phone number to steam and it asks me to verify that it is logged in to the cell phone and it sends me code with letters and number which is not possible because the cell phone steam guard only supports numbers but not letters

What you’re seeing is normal—Steam sometimes sends a Steam Guard code with letters and numbers for certain verification steps.

Phone Steam Guard codes are always numeric, but adding a phone or doing account verification can generate an alphanumeric code that you just enter on the Steam website or client.

Make sure you enter it in the Steam client or on the web page, not in your phone’s Steam app code box.

Basically: letters + numbers = correct for verification, numeric-only codes are just for login.:steamsalty::steamthis:

You have probably typed your number wrong type it into the authorisation with the 0 even though the local county tag is before it i had the same problem
