Steam mobile app no notifications
Whenever i get a message on steam or i create a listing or steam guard no notifications anymore. Is there a fix for this? I had this problem for almost 1 year and it's so annoying not knowing when ur friends send u a message. I also used the new steam chat on chrome android and enabled notifications there too but still nothing.

If u guys need this information i have a Huawei P9 lite 2017 with Android Oreo.

Please help.

Here is a fix for phones: open up steam and leave it as an open tab. You should start getting notifs like messages and stuff. Idk if this will help anyone but it sure enough helped me

Just open it (the app) in your background processes like as like u minimized it....

I have re-installing and its just not work.
I have also try to downgrade and it's still not work.
I just have abandon :/

Not much I can tell you really, since sounds like a setting was disable to notify you, or you have something that's interfering with your notification.

I found something that worked. I did both but i heard just one working for people.

1. Clearing the steam app cache on your phone and uninstalling/reinstalling it

2. Making sure your PC and phone are both on automatic time zone

If neither of those work, people who are switching to a new phone I heard have to delete the steam app on their old one to receive the notifications on the new phone

Same problem here too, I checked the settings and all that jazz, haven't uninstalled and reinstalled the app yet tho, can't remember what phone model I have

This thread is from before the UI update.

You literally have to swipe away all your notifications (delete) individually to make it go away in the new UI
