What is happening with steam moderation on the Russian-language forum?

There literally the entire forum is filled with scam bots in telegram

moderation doesn’t care that scam posts aren’t deleted FOR WEEKS

complaints about accounts from which scam posts are created do not help, scammers buy accounts for $0.29

people literally go to the Russian-language Steam forum -> follow links to telegram bots -> click on links that telegram bots give -> lose accounts

WTF?

Why doesn’t such a big company as steam do anything to counteract scams on the forums? As i understand it, it’s more important to draw beautiful stickers/skins in CS and get as much money as possible instead of solving problems that cause people to lose their accounts en MASSE

Report them and they will be removed as the ones on New to Steam have being removed.

As Nx stated, Moderation works ONLY on reported threads or posts.

They are not searching the forums for stuff, or posters to moderate or lock or delete threads.

They only work on what is reported.

I've been reporting those spam bots for months now. They are even spamming the New to Steam sub-forum.

But most of the threads just don't get moderated.

Sounds like Steam alright.
Reports that do nothing, Steam Support that tells you to use the report feature that does nothing.

Several Steam groups that continuously bump discussions for years on an hourly or quarter hourly basis creating thousands of spam posts?
No finger lifted.

Naming and shaming users in Steam groups that are supposedly scammers/scam groups themselves?
No finger lifted.

Just sticking their head in the sand deflecting and urging users to use report features that dont seem to work.

No wonder this entire platform is such a dumpster fire.

there even on some of the more popular steam games community forums. I remember they were on hogwats legacy when it first came out, and even on baldur's gate 3.
