When you install Steam on your new computer your Library will be there, and any Workshop mods.

But you'll lose all your progress on your games.
The software that you bought on Steam is tied to your Steam account.

If you had cloud enabled all your saves should be stored

I can see my games but it wants me to pay.
These are the games that are tied to your account. That is, the account that you are currently logged in with:

If the games you have aren't visible there, perhaps you have another account and this is the incorrect account?

That's correct but when I click on the game it wants me to pay. I'm wondering what I need to do to download them for free. I can't transfer from my old computer.

Not at all. A lot of games support Steam Cloud these days.

If Steam wants to sell you a game, it means the game is not on the account you are using. So it's either the wrong game, or the wrong account.

I am not sure how that is possible.
You may have to contact Steam Support.

1. OP is trolling and asking how he can download everything on Steam without paying.
or
2. OP has multiple accounts and is trying to log in with the wrong one.
This sounds like a problem for Steam Support, OP.

Although, just to clarify: are they showing up as being in your library but the typical “download” option is replaced with a symbol of systems the game is compatible with? Or is it just straight up saying the game is NOT in your library at all?

Asking b/c as a Steam Deck owner-sometimes the former will happen to me until I force compatibility with a certain Proton version.
Alstl has written a review for Napoleon - Total War. But this game does not show up in its game list. How can this be?

Old sharing loop hole?
That's not possible according to this post:

https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/discussions/forum/10/1629663905423859851/

No, a Steam user cannot write a review for a game that they accessed through Family Sharing unless they have independently purchased the game. Reviews can only be posted by users who own the game on their account.

Let Steam Support figure it out. They can probably see more about your account than we can. It's probably some sort of glitch in the system, and that's why everything seems off.

I apparently didn't explain well enough. All my games are visible. It says they are in my library. When I click on the game there is no option to play the game apparently because I need to download it to this computer. The only option is to buy the game.

I'd like someone to explain what I need to do.

Thank You.

You ARE on the client, and you ARE in the library (NOT the store), right?
