I noticed something: when you write a review for the first time, it's visible to everyone: both in the activity section and on the game's page. BUT if you delete the review and write a new one, say, two years later, it'll be "lost." Steam will consider it an edit, not a new one. That's why it's important to carefully consider what you write the first time. Editing doesn't help...
