Hello!

Yesterday I encountered a problem where when I clicked to open Steam, it wouldn't open. Trying to open a game from the shortcut menu encountered a "Steam Web Client is not responding" message. I have tried every quick fix or long-term fix I can think of save totally resetting my PC. These fixes include turning off firewall protection, uninstalling and re-installing steam and its webclient, running different compatibility and administrator modes, suspending and resuming in task manager to name a few.

We are at the point where when I attempt to open Steam, it displays a quick "verifying installation message..." and then nothing. Nothing else pops-up after.

I am very quickly running out of options and ideas on what to do. I know a lot of people have encountered this kind of problem beforehand and I am aware there's not one "single" fix for this kind of issue. Any responses are appreciated, thank you.
