You can hide profile awards.

Either way, youll be fine.

You cannot remove awards from your Steam profile, but you can hide them by going to your profile settings, selecting "Edit Profile," and checking the option to hide community awards. This will prevent others from seeing them on your profile.

Well, thing is, it just looks stupid. Hiding awards have also been inconsistent to work.

If only that was what the Jester was used for.

You were awarded with it 3 times, it will take a lot of awards to cover it up. You should find multiple people to swap awards with, but it is a trust game, and they might not give or revoke awards given later (I think they can do it up to 2 weeks after the award was given).

Hide rewards from profile

Step 1:

Open your Steam installation folder
Search and open webkit.css in resource folder, e.g. x:\steam\resource\webkit.css

Step 2: CSS

Open, add the following content at the end
save

Step 3: Block Steam Updates

Create steam.cfg in your Steam installation folder, add the following content

Done, the section is hidden on your profile

Step 4: Allow Updates

If Steam should do updates, the *.cfg file must be temporarily removed or renamed. It is best to back up both files beforehand, because webkit.css is overwritten during an update. Copy the *.cfg back/rename after the update, to block them again.

Note:
Steam should be closed during the process.

I find it ridiculous that it's done so people can't give themselves awards. Awards are anonymous anyway, and it's a net loss anyway.

Personally I'd find the advertisement of being a lolicon more concering than a .png of a jester. But eh... different people have different priorities.

Considering who gives me the jesters and what I get them for, I'm happy to show them off.

Are you concerned about those? My around 210 "Jester" awards sure aren't and you want to know why I'm also impervious to that sort of coward shunning tactic? Mainly and simply because most of those that I've got were given to me by people to afraid to face the cold, hard facts that I was clearing out and instead of being men/women of principles and upholding standards by admitting that they were wrong, instead they decide to try that shannannigan stunt that is clearly displaying their lack of regular communicational skills and education principles to verbally admit it and intead they try to hide those extremelly high sensitivies meter about feeling hurt with that sort of shaddy stunts.

Fyi exemplyfying side notes: And I've decided to present a few examples to easily assist presenting my PoV (Point of View) regarding this whole matter/subject.
Both examples upon this thread and both were made by the lazy OP when couldn't be bothered to visit a link that I've provided and actually read the simple paragraph that I've pointed him/her into.

Another clear example of self-rigtheous, self-deluded and pathological lier just trying to maintain his/her fairy tale of a thread. Since I was rinse and repeating myself into oblivion upon it by simply presenting debunking facts and supporting evidences to my solid reasonibng argumentations and all those didn't dount by that OP's self-delusional fairy tale Sci-Fi "Kardahev's Scale" scenario I simply decided to walk away and save me the hassle of someone who's clearly needing some professional Phychiatric assistance (to get a more stable mindset than those "Delusional Disorder" and "Pseudologica Fantastica" coupled and binded well together).

And having presented that I simply rest my case about noticing that quite a few of the more recent generations lack of normal/regular communicational skills to even have a forums conversations and/or debates. And I honestly don't care in teh slightest what they may think of me, truth to be bluntly told.
