If you purchased the game on Steam, it should be available in your account.

My friend is still sitting with the same problem.I wouldn't say hacked but he has no cd keys at all and he bought like 3 games including far fry 5,he tried contacting ubisoft for weeks to give him the cd key and nothing came back yet so he still can't play any of that 3 games her bought.

Ubisoft games do not use CD keys and have not done so in many years.
Your friend need to install and create a UBISOFT CONNECT account, then in the settings of that account link that account to her existing Steam account.
Then when she starts any Ubisoft game she bought on STEAM it will automatically recognize that link and register the game license to the connected UBISOFT CONNECT account and the game will start.
No CD key needed at any point.
