Hello, I recently loaded some money into my Steam wallet and got banned. Today at 1:45 AM, my ban was lifted, so I loaded money again and got banned once more. Why am I constantly getting banned? There's no problem; all my cards are valid, but I keep getting banned.

Because you haven't verified the card.

The first time, you let the 3 days pass for those added funds but didn't use the verification to skip the 3 days.

That could be due to many factors.

Market listings aren't Trade Protected. They can simply cancel the listing.

Since when has money been tradeable?

If you got banned, you wouldn't be able use it again. The word you're looking for is cooldown.


This happens when adding new payment methods, instead of saving the payment info on the account. If this has changed, then have to contact support as only support can give answers, or help on this.

Another way for getting cooldown is if doing high amount of unusual actively which flag by the system, or you're maxing out your wallet limit. Note items listed on market place affect wallet for limit, example if limit $2000, and you have $1500 on wallet, and listed item for $500 that haven't sold yet, you won't be able load your card due to $2000 limit, because once item sell $1500 + $500 = $2000 your at the limit, doesn't matter if item didn't sell yet, it matter as long it listed on market place.

I don't recommend using game skins for stock marketing, if want play stock market, we have a literal stock market you can go play in. Also you can't really cash out from steam wallet, and lose more money base on sale cut for market listing. That doesn't cover over the fact if lose your items to someone in one way trade items are not returned, that include the fact of trade protection goind pass 7 days limit.
