I'v had a few over the years, but the one that I always remember enjoying was with 2 public players on a L4D2 server, I'm presuming that they were friends and were trying to complete a game on expert difficulty, time after time they kept getting griefers in the game, they must have got tired of that so made a post on the forums asking for help, I happened to read that post so offered to help them.
We started the game and soon after another player called Mesa joined the server, thankfully, he knew how to play expert so went straight through, I think that they got the achievement for it and were made up.
It was a memorable game for me as it was a public server and I managed to get zero friendly fire, which doesn't happen often on expert difficulty. The other player (Mesa) posted on my screenshot soon after, I explained that the 2 players were trying to complete that campaign for nearly 2 hours before we joined, I thanked him/her for the help.
I don't get why people hated Shadows of Rose. Her finally getting to meet her dad is the most heartwarming thing since...

is possibly the most heartwarming thing of the 21st century so far. A moment of apotheosis, even.

One of those memories that exemplify what I love about gaming. So much a memory I went and got a destiny tattoo.
