Yes, calling yourself a child predator is inappropriate.

Ban justified

Even if you put that one word twice, that's so bad of a name to put. What happened to having originality and good taste? Don't complain about it. Find a better name...

Ban was justified and if that was a second time you should know better.

Just wait! This topic will be locked with a message saying that discussions about certain bans are not allowed. You have to respond to the ban message you get.

Automatic copy/paste message yes. Less effort. At the same time, this is pretty much what this is about... There's not much else to stamp on this thread, at this point...

For those who did not know, if you get banned for having an inappropriate name (which mine totally wasn't), the first ban would be a week-long, then it becomes a year-long ban for the second offence. I sort of have a clue on why my name would be inappropriate (it was Child Predator Predator), but I'm sure I have seen other accounts with much worse names that get away with it.

Also if you're banned, you can go to the Friends window and change your name there. It wouldn't change the community profile name, but it changes the name on games.

Your choice, your problem.

Blocked for obvious reasons.

Steam Support (and Steam moderators) only act on reports.

It's possible that these accounts simply haven't been reported yet.

I'm pretty sure Valve is saying the opposite about your name.

It shows that some folks never learn, and OP should've at least made a creative profile name that doesn't scream offensive.
