How do I level up for free without buying games?
I want to raise my level and get badges for free, but I don’t know how. I’ve played most of the games and didn’t get anything. Is there anyone who can help?

You can not level up your account just by playing games.

How to level up your Steam account:
  • Complete your community badge.
  • Buy trading cards from the community market to craft badges.
  • Get the "Seasonal Badge" from the points shop.

You can't level up your Steam profile without spending money.

Only the community badge is mostly free.
And the last level of the community badge might still require some spending...

On the positive side, levels are meaningless. And buying games is the least effective way to gain XP.

Oh that's bad for me so thanks for the help
The other posters are wrong, but not wrong by very much. You can chase user awards. Those'll give you steam points. Which you can use on the point shop. To level up the seasonal badge. To go about leveling up that way. You either need to be a great writer, or a hideous hateful troll.

In other words dance for the peanut gallery. In hopes that they'll throw peanuts at you. For every thousand points that you earn. You'll be able to level the badge once, and that will get you one hundred experience.

The farther you are from the summer/winter sale the harder it will be. Fewer people posting on the forums, reading the game reviews, and looking at profiles. Not to mention the farther you are from the less points are available. You want to hit the festival when folks are flush.

Why did the other posters not mention this. Probably, because for them that stuff is unthinkable. Some people don't want to behave like a monkey, and some people can't turn a phrase with the best of them. Is it worth it probably not, but if you do so religiously. You'll slowly get there for free.

Act like a shameless scumbag on the forums, and folks will punish you with jester awards. With every award you receive you get steam points. Go to the point store and upgrade the seasonal badge.

You can get EXP for your Steam level when other users give you awards.

If someone likes your post, game review, workshop mods or game guide, they might give you an award that gives you EXP that counts towards your Steam level.

So for example, if lots of people give you awards for your game review, you'll get enough EXP to level up.

My problem is that I don't have friends + I don't have enough or famous games that have a large community like rdd 2, Sekiro or The Witcher3 andd......... I own most of my games on other platforms like Rockstar Games, Epic Games or Ubisoft.
