It's more akin to the Spring Sale, the lesser of the 4 seasonal sales.

Everything from my wishlist that's >50% off and <20€. Except the swaths of HOGs which I buy when the current heap of stuff to play with my GF starts running dry.

I'm always hoping the DREDGE complete package has a new all-time-low price. Buying the dlc upgrade on epic would be cheaper, but I'm patient.

While I don't expect it on sale, I am waiting for the 3rd Styx game to be released in a couple months ... I've been stuck on that cliffhanger for 8 years!

I personally made out like a bandit during the Summer sale. I ended up getting thirty plus games during the sale. That being said the pickings are pretty slim at this point. Now the sale needs to be the lowest price ever by far, or it needs to be something I didn't know I even wanted.

Neither of which is terribly likely let alone a few of them. There were only two possibilities on my wish list, and having snagged one a couple days ago. I'm probably going to be done for this sale. Everything else on the list wont be the right price till next year, or hasn't even been released yet.

For a second there I'd hoped that the shift forward. Might signal some actual aspirations on their part, but the ad makes it look like another generic sale.

There's quite a few games I'm interested in picking up if they match or are below their historical lows. There's been a lot of games released recently that I picked up, so not pressed on getting much if the price isn't right.

Just give it a little more time, and you'll change your tune. That sale was most likely the markets bottom. The prices will probably only go up from there. I'm seeing a lot of chronic bottom feeders. Are now up to fifty percent more expensive.

The preview sales have turned out to be bittersweet. None of the deals are what I would describe as steals, and yet they are serving as some personal vindication. That I read the market correctly, and that my purchases were prescient. I saved myself a substantial chunk of money.

In other words I bought a lot of stuff that's gone up in price. So if you thought the summer sale was just plain horrendous. You'll probably end up finding the Autumn sale to be even worse, and the coming Winter sale will probably seem even worth then the Autumn sale.

I'll only buy if everything is 90% off

I keep tabs on my wishlist during sales and check which games have new highest sales and buy those, or the highest discounts. If there's nothing worth buying, no matter, I still got 150 games to go through from past purchases. I can wait longer.
