Marketplace - Trading Cards
Hello all,

Whenever I 100% a game, I usually buy the trading cards to acquire the badge for that game. I've done it numerous times with no issues.

For some reason today...trying to buy the Dune Awakening trading cards...I now have to use my steam mobile app and confirm these purchases. The problem is once I make the confirmation, I don't think the app from the phone and PC are talking to each other. It just doesn't buy the trading cards....anyone else come across this issue?

These confirmations don’t allow the items to be purchased and trying again just repeated the process.
I have the same problem, I wanted to buy some trading cards, Steam tells me to check my e-mail. After I confirm the purchase it won't do anything.

Was wondering if i was the only one having problems with this.

I usually just sell cards and buy others from what i get, so having to keep doing confirmations for amounts of money under 10 cents is annoying as hell, doubly so if the transaction don't even go through.

It should only do so once per session. At least that's all that I have noticed.

I always have to confirm every single card sale, now since it wants confirmation on purchases too it doesn't work because the confirmations don't seem to go through.

Hope they fix it after the weekend.

Leave the steam market page up of whatever item you are trying to buy then confirm it on your phone and it will work.

100% same Problem! I buy the Card! I have the Security Steam Email! I Confirm the Email! Nothing happend! No Card! No Info! Nothing. I try again! Same not working thing! I don`t use the Mobile Steam App! Only PC/Email & Co.

+1 on this. Not sure when the app authenticator became a piece of this, but I can also confirm that it does not work. Can't even contact Steam about it. Their support topics just link to an info page full of unrelated issues as if we're all just a bunch of idiots causing the problem through user error. IT is such an arrogant field of work.
