Doxxing
So today, I've been doxxed a second time by a user who things it's a good idea to post personal information of myself (with my real name and my relatives' names) on their Steam profile comment just for sick kicks. And I don't wanna name who in order to comply with the Guidelines, but I have sent a report against the user, and my friends did the same as well, and contacted Steam support about this with the screenshot provided though haven't gotten a response yet.

Scammers are one thing, but doxxers are the worst which shows how low they can really go, especially by posting another user's personal information to be shown to the public.

EDIT: To whoever gave me the Jester award must've done so on an alt account while serving the community ban. You know who you are.

You do know that you can contact your local authorities when it comes to this?

If this person is exactly posting personal information like address and phone number.

I have, one time. The unfortunate part is that they don't have the know-how with technology (I don't live in the mainland US, and the user lives elsewhere) so they couldn't do much, and they can't contact other countries even if they tried. But thank you regardless.

It should come to it if it was intended to do harm, but OP does not deserved to have their personal being shared.

Interpol has a cybercrime unit which you can contact via their homepage, maybe they can help you? It exists specifically to combat personal data leaks.

Well, it looks like the user who doxxed me got a community ban. I'm seriously glad they were dealt with. :steamhappy:

To be fair, this was the second time that I've been doxxed, but the second time was quite severe, especially given how heartless they were when they mentioned about my father's passing from last year, which was incredibly despicable of them.
