Disable desktop shortcuts.
Is there a way to stop Steam form making desktop shortcuts?

When the installation pop up appears, uncheck the "Create Desktop Shortcut" box.

I also appreciate steam doing this as they are creating them as they can't be deleted and now i've got a desktop full of dead icons because of steam. Appreciate the top quality trash code you're forcing on us
