They take like 3 months+ to reply, and its a copy pasted answer that has nothing to do with the query. I have experienced this many times.
The report button in the profile does nothing, as in, no action is ever taken...
I have reported harrassment via the report button many times, they just keep doing it...
Valve/Steam Support won't respond to a Steam Topic. Also, their support works very hard to keep everyone happy. If you can provide as many info/proofs as possible, that might speed up the process. Have a good day!
Kind Regards,
Kedeajan
The report button is working, i just recieved 2 messages today, and now the profiles are punished by the Support.
You need a prove when you are reporting people, just to say they are stalking me, might not enough.
Use the above. Explain what happened, provide links to the stalkers' profiles (use the Steam ID64 link not the custom URL link, they can change those), attach screenshots of their profiles as evidence.
Someone tried to doxx one of my friends. That someone got community banned.
What do you mean by id64 link?
And how long did it take you to get a response?
That just askes you to use the report button on their profile though...
When you report someone make sure to add all the information needed and links into the report. Multiple reports don't help you out ether.
I can assure you that reporting does work, but may take some time for them to get around to each report.
And profile reports go to Valve as mods deal with the fourms, so they won't be able to do much if anything about it.
