Made the switch from Xbox - Advice needed

I’ve been an Xbox player since the 360 (Halo 3) days, but have considered switching to PC a handful of times.

With some of the decision-making from Xbox recently, I decided to jump over to Steam. However, I have a couple of questions;

I am starting my game collection over by moving to PC. Does it make sense to replay Xbox games on Steam again or focus on new titles and exclusives that I missed out on?

Do achievements matter on PC? I don’t try to 100% the games I play, but I will try to knock out as many achievements as I can. Is there even a way to know if competed achievements are legit or not?

Steam profiles - are they worth customizing? They remind me of the MySpace days, which definitely appeals to me, but how often do you take a look at other profiles?

hey man whats up! i switched from xbox to pc 6 years ago myself!

Yes it makes sense to put the games you had on xbox here on steam, i would just wait until they go on sale so you dont blow as much money, steam has frequent sales and they're usually pretty good! :D

steam profiles are 100 percent worth customising although not completely neccessary, its just fun to do and is apart of the culture!

achievements dont really matter there isn't gamerscore like there is on xbox but they are fun to get!

Thanks for letting me know about my games list being private, I had no idea that was set by default.

I bought the couple of games I played most on Xbox (The Division 2 and Fallout 76 currently). It’s sad to not carry over my progress, but it’s been cool to see how the early hours of both games have changed since I started them on Xbox years ago.

I’ll keep an eye out for sales; I managed to get the games I have now during their Black Friday sale which was good timing.

I definitely need to work on my profile next, it’s looking pretty bleak at the moment!

If you like halo then the masterchief collection usually goes on sale for around £8 for the lot, well worth it on pc as you get higher framerates and full modding support too.

Thanks for the heads up, it will be cool to see those nostalgic games with a performance boost for sure.
