Please help

For some reason my steam client won't open. I've tried restarting my computer, completely shutting down and bringing it back up, running it as administrator, uninstalling and reinstalling. Nothing works. Please I need some help getting back up and running

I'm having the same issue and tried the same things you did as well as closing steam using task manager and relaunching.
edit: I have been using steam for many years and only today has this issue come up

I am running into the same issues and have done the same steps you have. I put in a support ticket requesting help. Maybe if we all spam the support they'll come out with an update to fix it.

Hopefully its an issue that can be fixed by them. I am having the same issue.

I can't open Steam either. I've tried restarting my PC, and I've also tried deleting and reinstalling Steam.

But I still cannot open Steam to use it. I hope they fix this issue quickly

If you haven't tried:
Launching in admin mode
uninstalling, reinstalling the steam client.
if you are feeling desperate you can just launch games from your cmd line through Steam, since it's still running in the background via steam://rungameid/ YOUR_GAME_ID#.

you can use steamdb.info to look up your games number.

If youre on linux the Konsole command would be steam -applaunch GAME_ID#
