I'm way over here in California so I'm not sure our games will go well(lag).
Regardless, I wouldn't mind showing someone new around the universe and all the other places too.
I guess I'll start by checking out our mutual games list...
I'm big into TF2, but I also play Spiral Knights(you probably never heard of it) and other simpler games. Now that the weather is cooler I can dive into my more cpu/video card intense games and not have my computer melt down.
hell yeah tf2! im new to the game but mainly cuz i stop playing when i dont have anyone to play with :(
I went to your games list of 71 games, clicked the show games in common checkbox and it became a blank list... most amusing.
Probably because I’ve mostly been playing chill games on my steam deck in loner-ville. Haven’t really got out my comfort zone yet.
Also checked out a few of your games and we have some in common it’s just I played mine on the PS5 (except MTG. I played that IRL)
I notice you've never been Half-Lifed... one of Valve's original games and what made it famous.

But some people just can't play shooter games as the 3D makes them sick.
If you have the stomach for it give it a shot/purchase B^)
Until then try out this one, its a free-to-play:

Plays like Zelda: Link's Awakening, but with swords, guns and bombs.
If/when you create your character I can help guide you through the first missions, possibly even join you(with my late-game weapons and tech)
You got me there. Some games give me the worst motion sickness. I played ESO religiously for years until they added in the golden DLC and then I couldn’t play it for all the flashing lights. I have really bad photosensitivity.
But I’d be happy to play some more laid back games if you can recommend some
This one has frogs :))

Aslo, if I may recommend a single-player game (In case you haven't played it yet):

i also play a lot of cosy/easy going games,as well as mostly single games, i also own a nintendo 64 and a sega saturn and play on those to sometimes when i have the space to plonk them down.
ive just compiled a list of games i recomend checking into but im not sure on how workable they all are on the steam deck because i gave away my steam deck to my brother in law last year. do you use the 'protondb' website for finding out about whether games will work on the steam decks proton software or linux in genral? if you dont-i find its a lot better for knowing whether a game will truly work or not than steam does tbh,as people will even tell you how to get the more troublesome ones working.
these are all ones i own and recomend having a look at them:
cosy: zen aquarium, joyquarium, malteses fluffy onsen, chonkers, cattos post office, placid
plastic duck simulator....
fun casual single player: ABZU, Bunhouse (you are a rabbit in charge of a greenhouse/plant nursery), cinnabunny (made by the bunhouse devs, you are a rabbit in charge of baking).
NIGHTS into dreams, goat simulator 3, stardust, alpaca ball; allstars, lego 2k drive, party hard 1 & 2 (adult themes involved), super monkey ball banana mania, islands & trains, KITT.IO,
Meowingtons Simulator (you are a cat in a night club), the escapists 2...
a more serious single player: copycat (sad, some mature themes, you play as a rescue cat but its not a very long game,it has a very good emotive story to it though) spirit of the north 1 & 2 (quite sad-especially if you play from the first game. you play as a fox in beautiful suroundings), gori; cuddly carnage (funny, sweary, can be sensory overloading and overwhelming due to the colours-you play as a cat called gori).
if your into games where you look after and ride your own horse;theres always 'my horse; bonded spirits',cult of the lamb (very dark humoured, and it can offend some-ive had suport staff get upset when i was playing it due to them not being able to seperate life from fictional entertainment.), bomb rush cyberfunk, okami HD, lost ember, metal dogs, spyro; reignited trilogy, robocop; rogue city (quite gory first person shooter, depends on your opinions of these), transformers; battlegrounds (quite a simple, acesible turn based strategy game,i find RTSs to dificult usualy), doom eternal (super gory first person shooter), quake live-im not sure if this has any anti cheat like battleeye installed which woud make it unplayeable on the deck.
single player with open world and multiplayer elements: tem tem, Meadow (well technicaly its MP but the servers have goten a lot less populated over the years, you often have to arange meetups-it has the most acepting, friendliest comunity out there though but it is cheap plus on the steam deck it works great-if you use the comunity layout for meadow instead of the WASD layout youll finaly be able to play meadow from your controls instead of keyboard (i thought that was amazing),and if you own the 'shelter' games, the main animals featured in those become playable in meadow, like an elephant for example.
i play most genres apart from anything multiplayer-unless its a multiplayer game where people cant intefere with your gaming, where it doesnt need verbal chat as im non verbal autistic, or its got a extremly positive acomodating comunity.
please add me if you wouud like!
https://psteamproxy.yuanyoumao.com/app/264710/Subnautica/ - It may not look very cozy, but this game really lets you relax, as long as you're not afraid of the vastness of the ocean and you are not afraid of the unknown
https://psteamproxy.yuanyoumao.com/app/3483740/Cast_n_Chill/ - simple and relaxing fishing game
I see you also have Stardew Valley and Potion Craft: Alchemist Simulator in your library. They are enjoyable and relaxing games.
Next will be controversial but: https://psteamproxy.yuanyoumao.com/app/108600/Project_Zomboid/ Once you learn how to play this game, you can relax and enjoy it. Of course, learning can take some time, but every game option can be customized to suit your preferences. You can even completely disable zombies or infection
When it comes to being a friend, well, I'm not very calm. I like dark humor and swearing, but my grandmother says I'm a nice guy. I don't like using voice chat. If you want to add me, add me, if not, don't.
